Amnesia Home Remedies










What is Amnesia?

Amnesia is a very peculiar disease where the patient forgets everything like his own identity, words or names, family background. In the other way amnesia is a loss of memory permanently or temporarily. The types of amnesia and their symptoms is varies from person to person. Generally it is two types, anterogarde and retrograde. In anterograde amnesia one can not learn new things and in retrograde the person completely forgets everything related to his past. The amnesia that is seen in middle aged people particularly males is called global amnesia. In some amnesia a person can not imagine anything about future and forget everything about past, because in this condition memory can not work properly and a person suffer from memory loss. In some case there are chances of brain damaged.

Causes of Amnesia

The main causes of amnesia are the injury of brain cells by diseases which affect them directly or indirectly, due to circulatory diseases, psychological causes, weakness of the brain, infection, reduced blood flow to the brain. The other causes are Inadvertent injure to the brain, fall, big blow of the head, depression, alcoholism, hysteria etc.

Symptoms for Amnesia

The symptoms for amnesia are memory loss, identity disorder, confusion and incapable to identify common faces.

Home Remedies for Amnesia

The different home treatment or remedies for Amnesia are:

Rosemary is best herbal treatment for Amnesia. By taking rosemary tea once or twice daily helps to treat the problem of forgetfulness.

Brahmi booti is another home remedy for amnesia. Grind 7gms of brahmi booti, seven roots of almonds and half gram pepper with water and then filter it by adding some sugar for taste. Drink this mixture everyday morning in empty stomach.

Almonds are best treatment for damaged nervous system. About 10-12 almonds put into water and keep it overnight. In the next morning prepare a paste by removing the brown skin and add one tsp of butter in it. Take it daily.

With a tea spoon of honey add five seed of ground black pepper and take it daily morning and evening. It is a wonderful treatment for Amnesia.

Cumin seed is another valuable treatment of dullness of memory. Mix Three grams of black cumin seeds with two tea spoon of honey and have it daily once in the morning. This one is a best home remedy for Amnesia.

Walnut is also benefit for weakness of brain. Consumes nearly 20 grams of walnut everyday. It will work good for Amnesia.

Yoga, pranayam and meditation is very much beneficial for Amnesia.
