Amnesia is a condition in which the memory of a sufferer is either altered or disturbed. Amnesia can also be spontaneous as we can see that in the case of transient global amnesia. However, the global amnesia is generally seen in middle-aged to elderly group people especially males and they lasts less than 24 hours.

For this, tea prepared from rosemary is to be taken once or twice on a daily basis works wonderfully in treating the problem of amnesia. Rosemary is not only a great amnesia remedy but it will also act as a very refreshing drink that anyone will relish.
Another great home remedies for amnesia is almonds. Almond is carrying great value in strengthening the memory. They will help in a great way in treating disorders related to nervous system. For this, one should soak about 10-12 almonds in water and then keep them overnight. Peel off their brown bark in the next morning and then grind them making into a paste. This paste is then taken alone or else adds 1 tsp butter in it. This is one of the best amnesia cure.
Walnut is another useful natural remedy for amnesia that can help in overcoming the brain weakness. One should consume about 20 grams of walnuts daily. To make it more powerful, take it along with 10-gram figs or raisins.
Home remedy for amnesia includes the herbal remedy using Brahmi. To use this, dry about 7 gram of this herb and grind it with water, along with 7 kernels of almonds and ½ gm pepper. Filter the whole mixture and then add 25 gm sugar in it just to bring taste. Drink the entire mixture at empty stomach early in the morning for about 15 days.
Having an apple a day with one tsp of honey and a cup of milk is another great diet for amnesia to bring back the memory and to rid of mental irritability.
All the fruits those are rich in phosphorus like figs, grapes, oranges and dates carry great value as amnesia remedy. They are highly advantageous in loss of memory due to incapability of the brain. This is also one of useful diet for amnesia.
One can also have cumin seeds mixing with two tsp of pure honey. Take this mixture once a day. This serves a valuable amnesia treatment and dullness of memory.
Another good home remedy for amnesia includes five seeds of finely ground black pepper that can be mixed with one tsp of honey. This is considered as very profitable remedy if taken regularly twice a day – morning and evening.
As a home remedy for amnesia, the diet of a person suffering from amnesia should consist of phosphorus rich food such as cereals, pulses, nuts, eggyolk, fruit juices and cow-milk.
Research says that Pranayama and Yoga can enhance the memory in an individual. One should practice that regularly. This is one of the effective natural remedy for amnesia.
